Approximately 67% of Xinyi Glass shareholders reinvesting in the group's shares under Scrip Dividend Scheme

(Hong Kong, October 22, 2024) - Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited ("Xinyi Glass" or the "Group") (stock code: 00868), a leading integrated automobile glass, energy-saving architectural glass, and high-quality float glass, is delighted to announce that approximately 67.00% of its eligible shareholders have chosen to reinvest the 2024 interim dividend in the Group under scrip dividend scheme, representing their strong confidence in the Group's business development and future prospects.

 

On October 16, 2024, Xinyi Glass issued a total of 132,139,235 scrip dividend shares under the scrip dividend scheme for the interim dividends as of June 30, 2024. Nine founding shareholders chose 96,272,539 shares as scrip dividends, accounting for 72.86% of the total scrip shares. On October 21, 2024, the closing price of Xinyi Glass was HK$8.30 per share, an increase of 25.0% over the issue price per scrip share.

 

The dividend scheme will provide additional capital support for the company's development, reflecting shareholders’ confidence in the company's future prospects and recognition of its performance.
